About

I am a Research Fellow in Political Philosophy at UCL's Digital Speech Lab. 

I'm also a final-year DPhil(PhD) in Philosophy candidate at the University of Oxford, a graduate scholar at the Institute for Ethics in AI  and an affiliate with the MINT Lab at ANU. My thesis supervisors are Professor John Tasioulas and Professor Neil Levy. 

Research

Generally, I work in ethics and political philosophy. The title of my DPhil thesis is Echo Chambers and Political Philosophy. It provides a politically liberal diagnosis of and prescription to the problems posed by echo chambers. I'm also interested in the ethics of content-moderation, free speech, paternalism, public reason, self-respect and civility.

Public Philosophy

I'm also the co-host (with Lewis Williams) of the Philosopher's Nest podcast. Together, we interview philosophy PhD students and ask them about their work and experiences in the (weird) world of academic philosophy.
